The Regional Development Fund of Western Macedonia will host the fifth Steering Committee and fifth Interregional Workshop of ECOWASTE4FOOD, which is included in and co-funded by Interreg Europe. The meetings will take place at the Mediterranean Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki on 29 and 30 November 2018.
The aim of the fifth Steering Committee is to review the activities implemented during the first phase of ECOWASTE4FOOD, concerning exchange of experience and planning food waste reduction actions, and to discuss future planning and the modifications required to successfully complete the first phase and achieve the project’s objectives for the second phase, concerning implementation of the partners’ Action Plans.
The fifth Interregional Workshop is the final workshop to be organised under ECOWASTE4FOOD and specifically aims to assess the partners’ Action Plans. Assessment will take the form of peer review within working groups established during the workshop.
Under the meeting programme, the fifth Steering Committee will begin on 29 November at 09:30 and end that day at 12:45, while the fifth Interregional Workshop will begin on 29 November at 14:15 and end on 30 November at 13:00. Representatives of all partners, regional operational planning experts and stakeholder representatives from the project partners are expected to attend.
