Cookie Policy

Clear information about cookies and similar technologies used by the official RDF of Western Macedonia website.

Version 1.0 · 23 July 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on a user’s device. Non-essential cookies may be stored only after prior, specific and freely given consent. Strictly necessary cookies are exempt because they are required for a service requested by the user or for the transmission of a communication.

2. Cookies currently used

The public website does not activate traffic analytics, advertising, behavioural tracking or profiling cookies. The previous Google Analytics configuration has been disabled.

Cookie Provider Category and purpose Duration
viewed_cookie_policy pta.pdm.gr — first party Strictly necessary. Records whether the user accepted or rejected the cookie choice so that the notice is not displayed continuously. 12 months
wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* pta.pdm.gr — first party Strictly necessary only for authorised WordPress administrators: cookie support, authentication and session security. Session or until sign-in expires
wp-settings-*, wp-settings-time-* pta.pdm.gr — first party Administration-interface preferences for authorised administrators only. Up to 12 months

The list is reviewed after every technical change. Any optional service introduced in the future will remain disabled until consent is given.

3. Your choices

The first layer of the banner provides equivalent Accept, Reject and Settings choices. No optional category is preselected.

You can change your choice at any time through “Edit cookies” at the bottom of the screen. Rejecting does not restrict access to website content.

4. External services

Links to maps, social networks or other websites open the relevant external service only when the user selects the link. From that point, the third party’s own terms and cookie policy apply.

5. Browser settings

You may also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Browser-wide settings do not replace the specific consent required for each optional cookie, but provide additional control.

6. Contact

For questions about cookies or personal data, contact the DPO at dpo@pta.pdm.gr.
