Purpose of the meeting
1st Living Lab workshop meeting aims to spread the methodology – goals of the project GREENSMARTMED and in informing the Economic entities of the Region of Western Macedonia about current funding opportunities, European and National funding tools, which are open for submission. Through the GREENSMARTMED project, it is sought to create synergies between local entities in order to give an impetus to the utilization of financial sources with axes of environmental protection and entrepreneurship. Through the project, the appropriate conditions will be created in order to strengthen working groups in the 5 sectors of interest, (machinery, textiles, plastics, mobility – batteries, giving greater emphasis to agro-food – cheese and wine sectors.
Who the meeting is for and reasons to participate
The meeting is held with representatives of the public and private sector, at local and regional level, with members of organizations, Chambers, Development Companies, Academic community, civil society bodies active in the Region of Western Macedonia. The philosophy and at the same time innovation of the organization of the 1ou Live-Dynamic Laboratory is based on the combined action of all the higher parties involved, integrating processes of exploration, experimentation and evaluation of innovative ideas, scenarios, concepts and technological developments in conditions of real use. Participation in the meeting is expected to be constructive, as it encourages interaction between regional and local bodies, helps to identify funding sources and potential synergies and new projects.
