The Region of Western Macedonia announces the pre-publication of the Implementation Guide for the Action entitled “Installation of Heat Pumps for Heating / Cooling in Western Macedonia”, within the framework of the Just Development Transition Program.
The budget amounts to 11.703.243,00 euros and is financed by resources of the Just Development Transition Fund.
Through the Action, the installation of heat pumps for heating and cooling homes is subsidized. In addition, the beneficiaries are given the opportunity to choose, under the conditions of the Guide, interventions for the coverage of Domestic Hot Water from the heat pump, thermal insulation of the residence, as well as the installation of a photovoltaic system with the possibility of energy storage.
The right to participate is natural persons who have a real right to an eligible residence, detached house or apartment, which is used as a main residence and is located within the Region of Western Macedonia, in accordance with the more specific terms and conditions provided for in the Application Guide.
The subsidy rates vary depending on the income category and the type of intervention. For basic energy interventions, a grant is provided that can reach up to 100%, while the maximum eligible intervention budget per application amounts to 22.500 euros. In addition, in accordance with the terms of the Guide, other costs such as the Technical Consultant’s fee, energy inspections, Electronic Building Identity where required, as well as any permits or studies are covered.
The pre-publication of the Guide is informative and aims to prepare potential beneficiaries in time, so that they can check the conditions for participation, gather the required data and prepare for the submission of an application.
Applications will be submitted exclusively online through the Action’s online portal, in the near future, on the dates that will be announced with the final publication of the Guide and the start of the submission process.
