The Municipality of Amyntaio, highlighting its strong political will and commitment towards sustainable energy planning, joined 18th April 2011 the Covenant of Mayors. The Action Plan for Sustainable Energy (SEA) of the Municipality of Amyntaio was developed in the framework of the “Rural Web Energy Learning Network for Action (eReNet)” project, which is co-financed by the Community program Intelligent Energy Europe (IEE). The Laboratory of Decision and Management Systems of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (ESAD-EMTU) is the coordinator of the specific project and the organization that drew up this SDAE in collaboration with the Municipality of Amyntaio.
