

The progress of the implementation of the Regional Action Plan was its main object 9 Working Meeting of the Network of Stakeholders of the Region of Western Macedonia in the context of the project EPICAH “Effectiveness of policy tools for the cross-border promotion of heritage” funded by the European Program INTERREG EUROPE.
The meeting took place online on M. Tuesday 27 April 2021 and time 09.30 a.m. through the ZOOM platform.
In the context of the meeting, the course of implementation of the regional action plan was discussed, as well as the online survey that will be carried out in the Region of Western Macedonia as part of the Epicah project in the coming months. In particular, this research aims (a) to record needs and proposals for new actions and projects for the next program period 2021-2027 in the fields of tourism, culture and environment, as well as recognition of their degree of maturity, (b) the search for good practices in the context of projects that were implemented and/or are being implemented in the context of the current program period (2014-2020) and to capture the perception of the agencies about the effects of the pandemic crisis on the tourism of Western Macedonia, as well as the opportunities in the post-pandemic crisis era.
Finally, the participants were informed about the great possibility of continuing the Epicah project with additional funding from the Interreg Europe Program after 2022.
